The Nation‘s Mark Hertsgaard: They say that everyone who finally gets it about climate change has an “Oh, shit” moment – an instant when the full scientific implications become clear and they suddenly realize what a horrifically dangerous situation humanity has created for itself. I’m more familiar with the “Oh, bullshit!” moment when you realise global warming is a joke. Such moments are occurring with greater frequency of late; feel free to describe your own in comments.
