Government officials say they have no record of an incident involving Prime Minister Kevin Rudd verbally abusing his staff in the presence of a ComCar driver. A Sunday newspaper report says a Launceston-based driver for the Federal Government's car pool service allegedly saw Mr Rudd direct a stream of expletives at his chief of staff and press secretary. It is claimed Mr Rudd, who was travelling in the front passenger seat, also threw a folder towards them after failing to find a document in the folder. The Prime Minister's office has denied Mr Rudd abused his staff while in Launceston. Full report here.
