Wine I'm drinking - Torzi Matthews Schist Rock Shiraz 2008

Yum, yum. Good quality boutique red wine for under $20 a bottle. And this is delicious. Plenty of ripe fruit on the palate and a lovely, almost perfumed character finishing with sweet licorice on the nose. Apparently they make another Shiraz wine priced above this one where all of the grapes are partially dried before being made into wine. Something like 5% of the grapes for this wine receive that treatment. Lovely drinking and at a great price.
