Huge "tea party" rally in Washington

Britain's Daily Mail reports:

Up to two million people marched to the U.S. Capitol today, carrying signs with slogans such as "Obamacare makes me sick" as they protested the president's health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.

The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency.
People were chanting "enough, enough" and "We the People." Others yelled "You lie, you lie!" and "Pelosi has to go," referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

Demonstrators waved U.S. flags and held signs reading "Go Green Recycle Congress" and "I'm Not Your ATM." Men wore colonial costumes as they listened to speakers who warned of "judgment day" - Election Day 20

I see that many conservatives in the States feel the British media is doing a better job of honestly reporting the size of the rally than the local media.

"I'm struggling to write a legal brief and thus not at the event. The MSM is estimating the crowd as "thousands" (MSNBC) or "tens of thousands" (the Post). Fox says tens of thousands too However, a friend who is there tells me it's a "six figure" size crowd."

But the same post linked to just above certainly is sceptical about talk of one or two million people, thinking something like 350,000 plus is closer to the mark.
