Palin Derangement Syndrome

Yet again you're left to stand back agog at the sheer nastiness and viciousness of some of the so-called "progressive" left.
Fourteen theories of Palin – and one toxic notion from Erik Sean Nelson at the Huffington Post:
In Sarah Palin’s resignation announcement she complained about the treatment of her son Trig who always teaches her life lessons. She said that the “world needs more Trigs, not fewer.” That’s a presidential campaign promise we can all get behind. She will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people.
The Huffers have since removed that post, but not before speedy bloggers captured the evidence:

Via Sweetness & Light, who point out: “Note the tags, which include ‘Trig.’ Just in case anyone might miss their despicable ‘humor.’”
UPDATE. You know, it’s possible that one or two people have forgotten their manners.
Of course, it may be that Palin wants to spare her family more of the astonishing slimes, inventions and fantasies that the Left has heaped on her in the most unprincipled and barbaric pile-on I’ve ever seen in politics.

Mr Nelson may wish to refine his thinking on racial purity by reading the foremost authority on the subject:

I'm sad about Sarah. I hope I'm wrong, and this is part of some sophisticated, calculated strategy. But I have the sense that she was hounded from office and the bad guys won.
