From Orange Punch: If global warming really were the threat it’s made out to be, would they need to rig the data? Meteorologist Joe D’Aleo, the first director of meteorology at The Weather Channel and formerly chairman of the American Meteorological Society’s Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting, says alarmists are cookin’ the books to inflate the temps. D’Aleo said the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) claim that global sea-surface temperatures recently were hotter than any times since 1880, is just hot air. NOAA claims record sea surface temperatures to enable them to make a case that oceans are warming. D’Aleo says the fact is NOAA removed satellite input from their global ocean estimation to show an increase of 0.2C or more. Voila! A new ocean warmth record for July! Why? Another example of NOAA corrupting data to support political agendas, says D’Aleo. “Between the station dropout (80 percent of the world’s stations, mostly rural), removal in U.S. or absence globally of any UHI (Urban Heat Island) adjustment, bad siting for 90 percent of the climate stations and the recent removal of satellite input into the ocean temperature assessments, NOAA has ensured that each and every month and season will rank and ‘validate’ their piece of excrement called CCSP and support the government’s argument for Cap-and-Tax, carbon regulations and global actions at Copenhagen.” Golly. When they insisted that the science was settled, we didn’t know they meant it was settled because it was rigged. Now why would they do such a thing? We can think of a trillion or so reasons. |
