From Harry's Place: Freedom House have published their 2010 survey of Freedom. Here is their freedom map. I hope you are lucky enough to live in the Green sector, and value what you have. Additionally, if you live in the green sector, I hope you are not an apologist for the other areas on the map, including North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Libya, Laos, etc  In 1980, 36% of the world’s population was free. Now 46% is free. Foreign Policy has a photo essay of 20 of the least free countries in the World. (Via: David Thompson).
