Mr Abbott faces an enormous challenge to convince Australians that his prospective government is truly different from the government that was so comprehensively rejected by the people in 2007. However, he has managed to engage the public and to present himself as a viable prime minister with moderate and achievable aims. And he has inherited the enviable economic reputation of the Howard government. |
